Specifications include, but are not limited to: Detailed Minimum Specifications (Scope of Services):SEQ CHAPTER \h \r 1The Independent Contractor shall preform the following services:A. The Independent Contractor (IC) shall provide services to the students at Oakley Youth Development Center (OYDC) through qualified occupational and speech therapist.B. The Independent Contractor shall submit to OYDCs Administrator a statement of the qualifications and experience or resume of each therapist who is to provide services to OYDC.C. The Therapists shall evaluate students referred for comprehensive assessment.D. The Therapists shall submit Individual Education Plan (IEP) objectives for students with Language/Speech eligibilities. The Therapists shall participate as a member of the IEP committee when a student eligible for Language/Speech services is being staffed. The therapists shall review and revise goals and objectives in the IEP for Speech Therapy (ST) and Occupational Therapy (OT) students.E. The Therapists shall serve as the Local Survey Committee when evaluating initial eligibilities.F. The Therapists shall provide and maintain written documentation for any services provided in OYDC.G. The Therapists shall coordinate with Special Education Teachers and/or Special Education Coordinator to provide OT and ST services for students at OYDC. The Special Education Coordinator will oversee services provided by Independent Coordinator and approve monthly activities.H. The Therapists who will be providing ST services shall be a licensed speech therapist with the Department of Education.I. The Therapists who will be providing OT services shall provide specific services for students with pyscho social deficits, their families, and educational staff. Students with mental health diagnoses may include but are not limited to:Affective disordersAnxiety disordersAttention disordersAutismPost-traumatic stress disordersPsychotic disordersSensory regulatory disordersSubstance-related disordersJ. The Contract Psychiatrists for OYDC shall refer students for OT students.K. The Therapists shall provide the following activities for the OT students:Comprehensive evaluation of adaptive functioning and psycho social skillsScreening for social skills and abilities
