Specifications include, but are not limited to:: The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (hereafter referred to as UNC or University) seeksproposals from qualified commercial fleet leasing companies (hereafter referred to as bidders) to provide vehiclesand related services outlined herein for a ten (10) year term period. The basis for this contract will be a masteropen-end lease agreement to consisting of vehicles leased for 36, 48, or 60 months in duration for each vehicle, asper UNCs choice, where there is a set monthly fee for said vehicle. Leases for individual vehicles may begin atvarious times during the ten (10) year period. The lease term of any vehicle will not extend past the ten (10) yearperiod. For certain vehicles, the University will need to make certain modifications for departmental purposes. Themodifications will include but are not necessarily limited to magnetic decals on doors, holes for a snow plow, scrapeoff decals on windows, caution lights, rear/front strobes, LPR cameras, LPR console/computer, spray bed-liner,decals, jumpstart connector, police radio, siren, and blue lights with minimum holes. Refer to RFPATTACHMENT C: UNC RFP RESPONSE WORKBOOK, Tab A_Vehicles that lists vehicles to be leased andwhat modifications will be needed for each vehicle. In response to this RFP, bidders will indicate (A) whetherbidder will allow UNC to make modifications to leased vehicles and (B) the expected return condition ofmodified vehicles upon the end of each vehicles lease term. Refer to ATTACHMENT C: UNC RFPRESPONSE WORKBOOK, Tab G_Return of Vehicles for this response. Bidder shall provide details onpenalties/procedures for returning vehicles not in agreed to condition at the end of any vehicles lease. Thisshall include bidders definition of normal wear and tear. Provide these details in ATTACHMENT C:UNC RFP RESPONSE WORKBOOK, Tab G_Return of Vehicles, C. and D.
