Oklahoma has enjoyed a unique kind of economic success over the past decade. In 2007, the state boasted one of the fastest-growing economies in the U.S., pushing Oklahoma to the forefront of national GSP growth. The state is home to strong natural gas and oil industries, as well as a robust agricultural sector, and also counts telecommunications, aviation and energy industries among primary drivers of the state economy. In this research brief we will review some of the state grant, financing and tax incentive programs available for small businesses and entrepreneurs in Oklahoma.
