Specifications include, but are not limited to: In July 2010, a Waterfront Master Plan was prepared for the City of Kodiak. That plan discussedexisting facilities, needs, a wish list and recommendations for improvements based on current levelof use, existing condition and assessments of greatest needs. This request for qualification willhelp the City of Kodiak solicit credentials from professional consultants to develop projectengineering, economic feasibility, conceptual plans, cost estimating, and related professionalservices to update the current City of Kodiak Waterfront Master Plan.Areas of focus and detail will include but are not limited to; Replacement of aging floats in St. Herman Harbor. Future development of Gibson Cove to include economic feasibility and options fordeveloping Gibson Cove. Facilities for marine tradesmen to lease space in the Shipyard. Improved parking around St. Herman Harbor. Increased linear pier face for larger commercial vessels. Enhance the cruise ship reception area and connectivity to the downtown area.
