Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Inspection Forms.Contractor shall provide assistance and coordination in the development offield forms for inspection and condition assessment for annual, semi-annual, monthly, weeklyand/or daily inspections and in the development of standard operating procedures for theinspection, operation and maintenance of water storage tanks, as requested by DPU. Proposedcost shall be hourly.2.Engineering.Contractor shall provide design engineering services ,materials, and equipmentnecessary to develop a complete bid package (modified standard DPU contract specifications,technical specifications, technical drawings, bid forms, etc.) for the storage tanks determined tobe rehabilitated/recoated, and/or constructed new, in each particular year of the proposedagreement period final schedule shall be determined by DPU in consultation with Contractor.a.Each individual tank bid package shall include the services necessary to rehabilitate eachtank to current Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA),American WaterWorks (AWWA) and Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP)(formerly Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) and National Association of CorrosionEngineers (NACE)) standards as well as to replace the interior and exterior coatingsystems.b.Contractorshallalso,whereapplicable,inspectanyadd-onsystemssuchastelecommunications equipment, cables, wires, etc. that have been added to the waterstorage tank as regards the safety and functionality of the tank and make recommendationsas necessary for compliance with recognized industry standards.c.Contractor shall include all services necessary to assist DPU through the bidding processand award of a construction contract, including, but not limited to: assistance withdevelopment and evaluation of the bid, including response to questions for addenda.d.Technical specifications and drawings shall be prepared and stamped by a New MexicoLicensed Professional Engineer.
