Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide and service 16 each 8 cubic yard dumpsters at the frequency describedbelow:(Note 1. Service at Thompson Center location shall be before 6:00 AM - or at an otherwise arranged andagreed upon time that is convenient for this location. It is imperative that the time agreed upon is kept toensure limited conflict with other University activities. 2. During the first two (2) weeks of the start of eachsemester, starting in August and January the Thompson Center location is anticipated to be required to beserviced a minimum of two (2) times per day. 3. When servicing locations the driver shall allow fifteen (15)minutes to allow vehicles to be moved that prevent the container from being serviced. Should a vehicle(s) orobstruction prevent servicing of the dumpster the driver shall contact the WSSU personnel or CampusPolice/Public Safety for assistance. If driver does not wait, Winston Salem State University must be notifiedwithin two hours of the time the driver leaves campus so that arrangements can be made to pick up later thatday at the expense of the successful bidder. Should the driver be required to wait longer than the designatedtime, it shall be the responsibility of WSSU to pay for additional service. 4. Dumpsters shall be cleaned orswitched with clean dumpsters a minimum of two (2) times per year, a minimum 72 hours notification shallbe provided to the University. During the cleaning or switching of the dumpster, the successful bidder shallallow time for the University to power wash container location and surrounding area, coordination shall bewith the WSSU Waste Management Manger. 5. Dumpsters shall be maintained by the successful bidder soas to prevent leakage or spillage of trash and debris. Any leakage or spillage caused by defective dumpstersshall be cleaned at the expense of the successful bidder. 6. The successful bidder shall replace anycontainers that may sustain damage, such as lids, locks, seep holes, but not limited to. The successful biddershall regularly inspect and collect trash that may get behind or under the containers. 7. Should the driverdamage University property such shall be reported immediately to WSSU Police/Public Safety. Any repairsto such property shall be made within a maximum of thirty (30) days.
