Specifications

Colorado State University-Pueblo is seeking letters of interest and qualifications submittals from general contracting firms to provide complete Construction Management/General Contractor/Guaranteed Maximum Price services to upgrade the existing Seimens MXL/XLS Audio Network on the University Campus. This project is to replace the existing Siemens Voice Fire Alarm Systems in all buildings on campus with a new fully addressable digital voice system with mass notification capabilities. The existing Siemens MXL/XLS systems will remain for detection only. The new networked fire alarm systems will operate the notification voice communications throughout the campus only at this time. The new fire alarm systems shall utilize existing spare fiber optic cables located in the existing fiber patch panels shown on the bid documents. Contractor shall run new fiber optic cables from existing fiber patch panel to new fire alarm control panels.Each building is different in scope. (See Building Bid Drawings for Scope of Work).
