Specifications include, but are not limited to: This specification requires the selected vendor to provide Maintenance and Demand Services asspecified within this contract for the SEPTA L3 Harris Voice, Interoperability, Data and Access (VIDA)system. The terms contractor and vendor are used interchangeable within this document.All services provided under this contract are only applicable to the land mobile radio products listedin the Equipment List or as required to maintain a fully operational L3 Harris VIDA system Dispatchsystem.All work under this Contract shall be the performed by a Vendor with the proven facilities andexperience to test, and service, SEPTAs Existing Harris Voice, Interoperability, Data and Access (VIDA)system, currently installed and operational within SEPTAs Police Radio Dispatch Center.The vendor shall be a fully certified L3Harris authorized distributor with specific knowledge,experience and history of installing and maintaining VIDA network solutions.Vendors shall have 10 years experience as an L3Harris Certified Partner deploying equipment ofsimilar type, function, and quality as those required by this specification.The Vendor shall have demonstrated successful service and operation within the transit industry withagencies similar in size, scope and operation to SEPTA.During the term of this contract, the vendor agrees to provide SEPTA with repairs, maintenanceservices, parts, software updates and security patches to maintain SEPTAs L3 Harris CorporationDispatch System Equipment in a fully working condition.All upgrades or system modifications shall take place on off peak hours or as approved by SEPTA.Contractor shall provide Demand Services as described within the schedule A and this contract.On Demand Service are additional work required by SEPTA that are not covered under thismaintenance contract but are required to provide continued operation or additions to the SEPTAradio dispatch system. Demand Services need the express approval of the Chief Engineer C&S orhis/her delegate.
