Specifications include, but are not limited to: Interns can expect to conduct the following work for the Bureau: Database management and data entryWorking with public water system owners/operators to gather missing database information and conduct data entry Research and development of educational and compliance assistance resources for the general public and public water system operators and administrators with a focus on:Harmful Algal Blooms/CyanotoxinsPer- and Polyfluoroalkyl SubstancesLead and Copper Rule Data visualization resources Filing documents into our Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) Education and outreach supportWe would like to interview and then select 3 students capable of working in-person at our state office in Boise, ID. Eligible students will preferably be enrolled in undergraduate studies focusing on engineering, sciences, or environmental/public health, preferably sophomore year or higher. Expectations are that interns will be present during their scheduled working hours and completing assigned tasks for the Bureau. Commitment would be to work the hours/days assigned through the contract.The contract will be a set dollar amount. When the contract funding is spent out, the internships would end. We would like to start the interviews for the internships in March 2023.
