Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bidders proposals must demonstrate how each of the following services to be provided are metand attest to their ability to meet the requirement. Each proposal response should cite theparticular RFP section and paragraph number being addressed.1. The contractor is required to provide telephonic deposition reporting stenographically.Depositions must be stenographically recorded and transcribed through mechanical orelectronic keyboard-operated typing devices. Backup audio recording equipment shall beoperating at all times while proceedings are being reported. Except where inconsistent withgeneral or specific instructions issued by NYSIF, every word spoken during a deposition ormeeting must be transcribed by the Stenographer, unless designated specifically as off therecord by all representatives.2. The contractor shall furnish all labor and materials required to provide depositionstenography. The stenographer shall be connected to the scheduled deposition a minimumof five (5) minutes prior to start time and must stay until told they are able to leave unlessotherwise noted by a NYSIF representative. If no party connects to the call, thestenographer must contact the designated NYSIF point person, if they receive no response,they must remain connected for twenty (20) minutes. Depositions will be conductedtelephonically without the need for in-person presence of the stenographer. The contractorshall supply a telephone line and the associated phone number for the parties to call. Thattelephone number shall allow a minimum of ten (10) callers to be a party to the samedeposition. The highest scoring awardee shall be able to cover twenty-five (25) simultaneousdepositions. The second highest scoring awardee shall be able to cover fifteen (15)simultaneous depositions. The third highest scoring awardee shall be able to cover ten (10)simultaneous depositions.2.3 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTSBidders proposal must describe how each of the following technical requirementsare met and attest with detail on their ability to meet the requirement. Eachproposal response should cite the particular RFP section and paragraph numberbeing addressed.1. Provide a description of your telephone system, including but not limited to:a. Describe how the system your firm uses will allow for clear understanding of all speakers.b. Outline the number of concurrent connections that will be available to NYSIF per line.c. Detail how many connection lines are available to NYSIF for depositions.d. Provide a description of any backup telephonic systems your firm has.2. Staffing:a. Provide a breakdown of the managerial and supervisory teams including their assignedtasks.b. Provide escalation procedures for when an issue arises.c. Provide the number of stenographers available simultaneously to NYSIF.d. Please provide the average number of years of experience your stenographic staff has.
