Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1. Contractor shall provide and install portable toilets (hereinafter units), tobe distributed as directed, among school and park locations (seeAttachment I) throughout the County. The Contractor shall, as part of theinstallation of the units, anchor the units in place. If the anchoring of unitsis not possible, the Contractor must otherwise secure the units in place forthe duration of the placement. Whether the units are anchored or not,Contractor is responsible for the immediate cleaning and replacement ofunits that are tipped/blown over.;4.2 Individual locations may range from one (1) unit to three (3) single regularand/or handicapped units. These requirements may be on a continuingbasis or seasonally. For the purposes of this Contract, seasonally meansthe period from March 1 through November 30. Special events, such as4th of July celebrations will be ordered on an as needed basis.;4.3 The County has approximately twenty (20) special events per season inwhich it will need short term portable toilets. Each special event isapproximately one to three (1-3) days in length but can be as long as ten (10) days. Pricing, for special events beyond one (1) day shall include allapplicable fees, such as delivery, setup, cleaning, and removal fees.;4.4 All units shall be serviced once each week, preferably Monday or Friday.Service is to include emptying, cleaning of unit, and replenishing of supplies,i.e., toilet paper. All items in the unit are to be removed and taken away bybidder, i.e., diapers, trash.;4.5 As usage dictates, additional cleaning may be required. Additionalcleanings shall be done on Thursdays and/or Fridays and within twenty-four(24) hours of reporting a unit that has been tipped or blown over. Units notanchored are not eligible for extra cleaning charge.
