Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: A large 14x 12x 12, stainless steel sculpture must be moved from Mokapu Elementary School to the State Facilities Compound at Shafter Flats.The sculpture stands on a concrete footing which wed like to leave in place. If its clear that it makes a lot more sense to take all or part of the footing, we can discuss it.Stainless tubing and rebar embedded into the footing is attached at the underside of the sculptures feet.Vendor must provide an armature comprised of materials that can withstand 2 to 4 years of outdoor exposure while maintaining its structural integrity. The same armature will be used for supporting the sculpture when the piece travels back to Mokapu ES.The armature materials must be able to withstand the elements and insects.Ideally, the armature will house the hoisting and tie down points. The sculptureVendor will be responsible to plan a route that can accommodate the oversize load and will be responsible for securing any permitting that may be required for the movement.
