Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pests to be Controlled: Ants (all species), centipedes, cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, flies, mice, mites, pantry pests, rats, silverfish, spiders, springtails, bed bugs, and other common household pests. Service Schedule: Bi-weekly visits to each campus listed above. (26 scheduled site visits a year) Service Hours: Preferred hours are 6:00am-8:00am or 4:00pm-6:00pm when students are not in the building. Can coordinate other service times, if needed. Service Areas: Any complaints will be serviced each visit. Common areas (classrooms, offices, multipurpose rooms, gyms), trash rooms, mechanical rooms, storage areas, pipe and electrical chases will be included in the scheduled treatment. Special attention will be given to cafeteria, kitchens, food prep areas, staff lounges and other areas of food consumption and auditoriums. Any basements, including the boiler room, maintenance office, and all associated rooms will be baited for the control of pests, including roaches and mice. Exterior of the school will be treated along the perimeter of the building and all ingress points, i.e., pipes and other conduits into building. Service/Treatment Details: All labor and materials will be furnished to provide the most efficient pest prevention and with maximum safety required by federal, state, and local regulations for pest control in schools. Management and elimination of pests listed based on the least toxic method possible, and posing no health concerns for staff and students. Traps are to be placed discreetly throughout common areas of the school and monitored on a regular rotating schedule to identify and control pests throughout the building In all classrooms and public spaces, discreet plastic stations will be used to enclose and monitor/ traps. Safe, tamper-proof mice control multi-catch stations will be employed to ensure a rodent free building. Insect baits will be injected into cracks, crevices and wall voids. Insect Growth Regulators (birth control for insects) which are non-poisonous and offer long residual protection will be employed. The grounds will be inspected each visit and locked, secured, tamper-proof bait stations will be employed as needed.
