Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Provider will provide crisis services through a comprehensive, coordinated, communitybased service system which utilizes available funding to serve the greatest number ofeligible residents with effective services whose type and intensity is matched to theindividualized needs of the client, including the maintenance of a crisis response programthat provides response and services throughout the entire county.B. All services are to be centrally located out of the Hawthorn Center, however many of theservices and supports will be provided in the community. In addition to the core clinicalinterventions described under each team, the provider is expected to participate intraining of law enforcement, community members and other organization as requestedby the county.C. The service provider will provide all services in a manner that is respectful, recoveryoriented, trauma-informed, peer-inclusive and culturally responsive. This shall bedemonstrated through staff hiring, training and community integration.D. The crisis program shall be made up of several teams that work collaboratively to ensurea broad network of safety net services. Services must focus on response to both mentalhealth and addictions concerns. The teams include:II.B HAWTHORN CENTERA. Hawthorn Center is a facility-based crisis service and is to function as a hub for all crisisservices, with the other teams co-located with facility-based staff.B. The center will be open seven days per week, 365 days per year with extended hours intothe evening. The program will offer rapid assessment, safety evaluation, triage andconnection to ongoing care. Medication management services will be provided out of thecenter and any of the other crisis teams may refer clients for a medication evaluation.
