The existing pump cans and pump suction piping to be used.Replace existing flow meter: The existing magnetic flowmeter is undersized at 16-inches in diameter and will be increased to 30-inches to accommodate the additional flow.Upsize suction and discharge piping: The existing suction and discharge piping on the Jomax BPS site are insufficient for the higher design flows into and out of the pump station.New parallel 24-inch transmission pipeline in Jomax Rd: Approximately 5,100 linear feet of 24-inch piping required in Jomax Rd. to supplement capacity of existing piping (Figure 2).Upsize pump discharge pipe and add pressure sustaining valves: Replace the existing 8-inch and 12-inch pump discharge piping with 18-inch diameter piping to accommodate the higher flows. Replace the existing control valves with new pressure sustaining valves.Upsize discharge manifold: Install a new 30-inch above grade discharge header.Replace VFDs: Replace Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Replace the existing standby engine generator: The existing generator will be replaced with a larger unit capable of powering the duty pumps.Replace Instrumentation and Controls: Instrumentation and Controls to be replaced, as necessary.Turnout Structure Upgrades: Addition of a new 36-inch flow meter structure at the existing turnout structure at 67th Ave & Jomax Rd.
