Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), thiselectronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued by the Technical College System of Georgia(TCSG) on behalf of Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC) to establish a contract with one qualifiedsupplier who will provide Janitorial Services to all of their campus locations; 1. Contractor must provide an on-site management/supervisor at all times during day-to-dayjanitorial service. On site management/supervisor will serve as liaison with GPTC concerningtheir custodial needs and will represent the Contractor on any and all issues that may arise inthe day-to-day operation. On-site management will receive, address and document allcustodial complaints and meet with GPTC representative to address concerns and issues.2. Contractor shall comply with federal and state laws, rules and regulation relative tonondiscrimination in employment practice because of political affiliation, religion, race, sexcolor, handicap or national origin. Nondiscrimination in employment practices is applicable foremployment, promotions, demotions, dismissals and other elements affectingemployment/employees3. Contractor shall hire and pay directly all employees for janitorial services. Contractor hiredemployees are not State employees. Contractor accepts responsibility for all payroll taxes.4. Contractor acknowledges that GPTC assumes no responsibilities for labor problems that mightarise between the contractor and its employees.5. Contractors employees are to maintain the highest standards. Service is to be above standardservice and performance. Employees are to be sober, drug free, conscientious, competent,neat and courteous.6. The Contractor shall obtain criminal background checks on all contract personnel prior to thestart of this Contract or upon employment, and at least once per year thereafter.7. The Contractor shall provide documentation to GPTC illustrating that background checks havebeen successfully completed.8. The contractor shall inform the Contract Administrator, by certified mail, of any criminalconvictions of any type for contract personnel within five (5) days of obtaining the information.9. No children under the age of 18 or any pets are allowed on the premises during cleaningoperation.
