Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:Shall be straight frame and robust enough to handle the weight of the machine with the conveyor fullyloaded.ENGINEShall be minimum SAE Net 130 horsepower, turbocharged diesel. Engine to have electric block heater,engine oil cooler, Oil filters, Fuel Filters, Drainable Fuel/Water separator, coolant filter, and cold start aid,coolant recovery tank, and antifreeze -30 degrees (minus 30 Degrees).TRANSMISSIONThe transmission shall be two speed hydrostatic and be capable of attaining a road speed of 20 miles perhour.STEERINGUnit shall have hydraulic steering not to exceed 45 degrees; turning circle shall not exceed 42 foot turningradius. Fully modular insulated enclosed canopy with sound dampening insulation for noise/vibration reductionconforming to SAEJ1040. Cab to include heater, defroster, factory Air conditioning, front and rearwindshield wipers with washer and intermittent control, Sun Visor, suspension seat with adjustable forheight-weight, fore-aft position, backrest tilt, and seat belt. Dash shall include a full complement ofnecessary instruments and gauges within view of operator. Cab shall include storage compartment, tintedglass, (2) two outside Rearview mirrors, handholds, and slip resistant steps, front fenders.ELECTRICALUnit shall have a 12 Volt weather proof electrical system, driving lights, front and rear work lights, turnsignals and four-way flashers stop and taillights that conform to SAE99, emergency beacon, back upalarm, and a horn.The unit shall be equipped with the following gauges: Engine Coolant Temperature, Engine Oil Pressure,Hourmeter, Transmission Oil Temperature, Fuel Level, Tachometer, Battery Voltage, and TransmissionGear Indicator.The unit shall be equipped with the oil pressure and coolant temperature derate.HYDRUALIC SYSTEMThe central hydraulic system shall derive its power from a variable displacement type pump. All relatedhydraulic plumbing and electrical systems must be securely mounted throughout the machine to precludehose and/or wire chaffing, stretching, snagging, bunching, festooning, etc. all controls in the cab, lines andvalves.The hydraulic system shall be capable of attaining motor speeds that will allow material loading capacityat a minimum of 10 yd per minute.MOLD BOARDThe moldboard shall have counter rotating augers that feed the uptake paddles.CONVEYOR SYSTEMThe loading conveyer shall be long enough to allow a dump truck loading form the rear. The belt shall be30 inches wide and cleated for efficient loading. The belt shall be able to attain a travel speed of 650 fpm.There shall be a secondary conveyor that will allow side loading of trucks. The secondary conveyor shallbe able to rotate 180. The secondary conveyor shall allow for the discharge of material off the roadway.An example of this would be removal of snow from the roadway shoulder and placement behind theguardrail.BRAKES / AXLESBrakes must be fully enclosed to allow operation in rain, mud, snow and other adverse conditions.Parking brake application shall be attained by electric, hydraulic, or spring actuation.All service brake mechanisms shall be adjusted automatically and self-compensating for wear.Differentials shall be planetary reduction limited slip.TIRESTires shall be 10 ply 9R-22.5 front and 12 ply 14-24 rear.SAFETY EQUIPMENTFire ExtinguisherSlow Moving Vehicle Sign
