Specifications include, but are not limited to: Review the 2009 Treasure Valley High Capacity Transit Study Priority CorridorPhase 1 Alternatives Analysis2 and related materials and update assumptions asneeded.o Changes in land use, roads, population density and distribution, busroutes, businesses, activity centers, and other factors should beconsidered as part of this review.o In addition, ValleyConnect 2.0 should be referenced for plannedimprovements to the bus network. Based on the purpose and need from the 2009 study, updates to meet currentconditions and needs, and input from PTWG, define the purpose of the fixedguideway corridor. The purpose will determine the fixed guideway mode andalignment option(s) to be pursued for this corridor. Based on the system purpose, determine other features of the system:o Identify trade-offs between speed and access (number of stops, degree oftransit priority and/or level of separation, etc.)o Determine ridership thresholds needed to support this purpose.o Determine the travel time between jurisdictions.o Identify the necessary supporting investments, including local transitconnections, park and ride facilities, etc.
