Specifications
Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Inspectionsi. Annual Inspections Testing and Certification of the Building Fire Alarm Systemper National Fire Protection Association Code.;a. Test main ONYX Series NFS2-3030 Fire Alarm Panel, interface equipment,LEDs, fuses, annunciators, power supplies and ground fault detection;b. Physically activate devices and control functions;c. Audible testing to be conducted during off or non-operational hoursii. Quarterly Inspections Inspections of Sprinkler System per National Fire;Protection Association Code 25a. Visual inspection of all devices;b. Test of all water flow/sprinkler tamper switches and pre-action systems;c. Alarm devices inspection and test;B. Reporting and Repairi. In the course of performing routine preventative maintenance services, shouldthe Contractor become aware of inoperable or malfunctioning equipment, itshall be the responsibility of the Contractor to immediately report their findingsverbally, and in writing to the contract manager.;ii. The Contractor will be responsible for submitting a written report of all neededrepairs, to include the required repair parts, within twenty-four (24) hours of thefindings.;C. Emergency Service Callsi. Contractor shall provide any necessary emergency repairs betweenscheduled tests upon request of the Cal OES Contract Manager.;ii. Contractor will ensure that emergency services will be available twenty-four(24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week to minimize system downtime.;iii. Upon the contractor being informed of the issue, response must be providedby telephone within thirty (30) minutes and service technicians must be onsite within four (4) hours.;D. Parts Replacementi. This Agreement will include replacement of any part that becomes worn orinoperable, or that otherwise affects the equipments operability in any way.A manufacturer's published price list for parts shall be submitted with theContractor's invoice to Cal OES. The Contractor must notify the ContractManager prior to ordering and/or installing the part. A written estimate of therequired part(s) must be submitted to the Contract Manager and approvedbefore replacement.;ii. Parts replaced by the Contractor under this agreement shall be new, factorymanufactured or of equivalent quality and must meet the industry standards.All parts replaced will be subject to price verification by Cal OES.
