Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Sucker and Tree removal:a. Remove 7 isolated trees: 3 Siberian Elms, 3 Blue Gum Eucalyptus and 1 plum, shownon Figure 1 and Table 1.b. Limb one fallen Cypress, leaving stem secure on ground.c. Clear Siberian elm suckers of various sizes from 3 locations totaling 8,500 square feet(see Figure 1 and Table 2).d. Prune dead wood and unsuitable branches from 7 blue gum Eucalyptus treese. All tree debris, logs (except Cypress stem), brush, chips etc. shall be removed fromsite.a) Cut all stems/trunks approximately 6 inches from the surrounding gradef. Work should be accessed and performed from 7th Avenue.2. Restoration of disturbed soils:a. All areas of the project site will be restored to pre-project conditions followingcompletion of the work. This includes, but is not limited to, all areas disturbed bytree work, equipment access and staging.b. The Contractor shall repair at his sole expense all damage to existing park amenitiesand infrastructure (e.g. pathways and curbs) and vegetation that is cause by the workdescribed in the scope of work.3. Site Safetya. The Contractor is responsible obtaining road and parking permits for access andstaging if needed and for maintaining traffic safety during the project.b. The contractor is responsible for contacting underground utility detection service. If autility is damaged immediately notify a city representative and the owner to discusscorrective action. Repairing damaged utilities and park infrastructure caused by theContractor shall be the responsibility of the Contractor.c. Staging areas will be determined prior to the start of the project and in coordinationwith a city representative.
