Specifications include, but are not limited to: Daily RequirementsContractor shallcomplete the following requirements daily.1.Sanitize wipe, dust, dust mop, vacuum , wet mop all patient areas (includingareas under patients' beds), seclusion rooms, staff areas, medication rooms,treatment rooms, soiled linen rooms, housekeeping utility rooms, nurse'sstations, classrooms and galleys.2.Vacuum and spot clean all carpets in business areas.3.Sweep and wet mop as needed all stairs.4.Dust mop all traffic areas.5.Sanitize wipe doorsills, doorknobs, non-wood surfaces (i.e.,drinkingfountain, appliances, counter tops, couch & chairs cushions, tables).6.WastebasketPick-upSchedule:The business offices daily, prior to 10:00a.m. CST and again after12:00p.m.CST.All patient livingareas after each meal as needed. (Breakfast, lunch, anddinner)All required outside areas daily, prior to 10:00a.m. CST.Trash mustbe removed from all living units each day to includeweekends and holidays.All trash mustbe placed in outside compactor.There will be one(1) thirty-four (34)-cubic yards trash compactor locatedat thehospital loading dock. Trash mustbe bagged, tied and placed inthe compactor.7.Clean Restrooms:Toilet seats and urinals shallbe washed and sanitized.The interior and exterior of the toilets shallbe thoroughly washed,including, but not limited to, the rounded inside rim.No rust, incrustations,or water rings shallbe permitted to exist.Drain traps shallbe maintained free from odors at all times.All washbasins shallbe thoroughly cleaned on the interior as well asthe exterior.Allsoap dispensers mustbe refilled.All mirrors, shelving, dispensers, chromium fixtures and piping shallbe sanitized wiped and polished dry.Vents, HVAC grilles, and stall partitions shallbe dusted.In patient areas,cleaning mustinclude curtains, curtain rods, fixtures,shelves, ledges, and bathtub/showers. Wet mopping of the floorsdaily within time framesshallbe determined by ASH Nursing/Administration.NOTE: Commodes, showers, and bathtubs used by patients withinfectious viruses (human immunodeficiency virus, hepatitis,etc.) may require cleaning after eachuse. 8.Wipe clean andwet mop all elevators.9.Remove all cobwebs.10.Remove all hazardous waste according to established ArkansasDepartment of Energy and Environments Division of Environmental Qualityhazardous waste safety procedureshttp://www.adeq.state.ar.us.
