Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to perform annual preventive maintenance services, load testing, emergency repairs as required on an emergency generator and on its accessories described herein.The services Contractor shall perform to consists of, but is not limited to, the following:Quarterly Maintenance RequirementsContractor shall provide complete visual inspection of the overall condition of the generator unit. Check for loose or broken fittings and parts, guards, and other components susceptible to damage. Provide a written technician report (as identified in Seciton 6.I) detailing findings to the FMD Contract Administrator or FMD's Designated Representative.1) Air Induction and Exhaust SystemInspect air filter service indicator for proper operation and notation of reading.Inspect and replace air filter if needed. Cost of filters to be included in contract.Inspect the air inlet system. Inspect all piping as well as the air filter housing for damage, loose connections, or evidence of leaks. Air filter housing is to be cleaned when air filter is replaced. Check the condition of gaskets and seals.Inspect the turbocharger for lube oil or exhaust leakage. Inspect for oil leakage.Inspect the exhaust system, including the silencer and all piping, for damage, corrosion, or leakage. Check the condition of the rain cap. Check all supports for vibration damage or loose connections.2) Cooling Systema. Visually inspect the radiator/heat exchanger for leaks, damage or debris. Inspect louvers for proper operation.b. Visually inspect coolant for correct level and signs of contamination. Check coolant conditioner concentration and temperature protection. Check filler cap gasket and sealing surfaces.c. Visually inspect all hoses and connections for deterioration. Physically check tightness of all connections.d. Check fan drive pulley and fan for loose or worn pulleys. Lube fan drive bearing. Check fan operation and clearance.e. Inspect fan belts for wear and deterioration. Check fan operation.Inspect the jacket water heater for proper operation. Check thermostat setting for proper coolant temperature.Visually inspect the water pump for leaks and listen for unusual noises.3) Fuel Systema. Inspect all fuel lines for leaks and tight connections. Check any support brackets as well.
