Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall be responsible for the disposal of all grease trap materials from the point of pumping from the sump pit, and be compliant with all local, state, and federal laws and ordinances governing such disposal. No temporary storage of waste from other locations shall be permitted on the property of the Correctional Center.Below is additional information on the 4 tanks:JCC Dietary grease trap: 700 gallons, inside perimeter fence, 25 ft hoseJCC Dietary grease trap: 250 gallons, inside perimeter fence, 25 ft hoseJCC Mechanics bay catch basin: 50 gallons, outside perimeter fence, 25 ft hosePWC Dietary grease trap: 1,000 gallons, inside perimeter fence, 25 ft hoseVendor shall provide all labor and equipment necessary to remove all grease trap waste from the above sites. All service shall be approved by the Chief Engineer or designee.Additional services may be performed upon request of the facility and will be reimbursed at the same rate.All equipment used by the vendor must be of commercial manufacture specifically designed for the storage of material during the pumping, transportation and dumping of said waste.Vendor will provide Jacksonville Correctional Center with the name and telephone number of a responsible representative for emergencies and any other special requirements.Vendor will respond to the Chief Engineer or facility plumber within 24 hours of initial contact at which time they will coordinate pumping dates and timesJacksonville Correctional Center/Pittsfield Work Camp will accept responsibility and pay for pre-acceptance analytical tests for sump pit waste as required by State of Illinois and Environmental Protection Agency requirements.Vendor must carry property damage and public liability insurance. An insurance certificate must be provided at the time of the contract execution and annually thereafter.Vendor shall provide proof of disposal of waste.Vendor shall procure all licenses, permits and registrations necessary to transport and dispose of grease trap waste. Copies of all licenses and permits shall be submitted prior to execution of contract. There shall be no additional compensation for landfill charges.
