Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Visit the site and be responsible for all measurements and job conditions.2.Attic Insulation: Attic is currently installed only with R19 insulation. The insulation is also missing or disturbed in many locations allowing heat loss into the attic space. A.Inspect to identify and seal any air leaks to prevent heat loss. B.Install blown- in fiberglass insulation to increase the R-Value of the attic insulation to R38. 3.Tempering Tanks and Air to Water Heat Pump: The academy uses an oil-fired boiler to heat domestic hot water, which is used mostly for laundry, showers, and washing dishes in the commercial kitchen. Using this heat pump to pre-heat city water before sending it to the boiler would significantly reduce out energy costs. A.Inspect room 154 to determine the location of the tempering tank and an air-source heat pump water heater. B.Installing a tempering tank and an air-source heat pump water heater in room 154 as approved.4.Troy Lynn Duncan Shooting Range: A.Remove existing gutter/downspout and any appurtenances that are related to the gutter system.B.Remove and replace existing rotten facia board with new exterior grade facia board. Stain facia board with 2 coats of acrylic coating to match surrounding facia board.C.Replace the existing gutter/downspout and any appurtenances that are related to the gutter system. D.Pressure wash and stain covered area as approved. Prepare and paint two steel doors as approved.5.Exterior Window Replacement: The defensive tactics room has four 18 x 34 fixed pane exterior windows. A.Remove and replace existing fixed pane windows are to be replaced with double glazed energy efficient openable windows with screens. B.The existing windows are installed at 80 height from finished floor. The new windows must be accessible to operate without using ladders.
