Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.0 Governmental Center Thomasville Requirements:3.1. One (1) Company Police Officer shall be provided during the following hours:Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m.3.2 At the beginning of each shift, the Company Police Officer shall check in at primary public service desk to determine who the person in charge (PIC) is for the duration of the shift.3.3 In addition to the requirements listed here, the Company Police Officer will follow all directions and instructions issued by the PIC.3.4 The Company Police Officer shall regularly patrol the entire public area of the building at least twice per hour, paying special attention to areas that are out of direct sightlines, including meeting rooms, study rooms, restrooms, hallways, etc.3.5 The Company Police Officer shall patrol and monitor the exterior of the building and parking lot at least once per hour.3.6 The Company Police Officer shall assist staff in the event of an emergency, including helping with vacating and securing the facility when an evacuation of the building is required.3.7 The Company Police Officer shall notify PIC if they observe any unattended children as identified in Thomasville Governmental Center, Unattended Children Policy (Attachment A).3.8 The Company Police Officer shall report all behavior inconsistent with the Rules of Conduct (Attachment B) and/or any unusual activity to the PIC.3.9 The Company Police Officer shall immediately report any illegal activity to the PIC, who will determine appropriate action and will contact local Sherriff or Police Departments if appropriate.3.10 In situations where staff and/or citizens are in immediate danger and the PIC is not readily available, the Company Police Officer will phone 911.
