Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the project associated with this RFP is to develop a strategic marketing plan that elevates the NCCUbrand and positions it as a university of choice for top students. The overall objective of this project is to increasebrand awareness and to elevate and enhance the image of NCCU among key stakeholders both external and internal.The geographic focus of this effort is the state of North Carolina. A critical element of success in this regard willrecognize the diversity of the state with respect to its rural and urban populations. At the same time, a geographicfocus that extends beyond the state so as not to limit the size of the pool of potential undergraduate students isrequired. (Note: this constraint is one that does not necessarily apply to graduate programs.) Consequently, this planwill recognize the importance of regional markets and can support an expansion into national and internationalmarkets.
