Specifications include, but are not limited to: Qualified vendors to contract for Biomedical EquipmentMaintenance and Repair Services. 1. Preventative maintenance performed by Contractor shall include but is not limited to calibrations, initialsafety inspections, adjustments, operation/functional tests, lubrication, cleaning, leakage current tests,and correction of discrepancies based upon the specific need of each piece of equipment, asrecommended per the manufacturer's specification and maintenance manuals and/or as specifiedherein.2. Contractor shall perform equipment preventative maintenance service in accordance with frequenciesdelineated in Exhibit A-1.3. Contractor shall place stickers on the equipment that specify the date of service, date of next servicing,status, and signature of technician servicing equipment.4. Contractor is responsible for providing all materials, equipment, tools, factory authorized parts, andequipment to perform maintenance. All instruments used to calibrate the equipment shall be certifiedand traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. 5. Upon request of Contract Manager, Contractor shall perform initial safety inspection of new equipmentadded to the Agreement.6. Dental equipment maintenance shall include:a) Service for Air Techniques air compressors shall include:1) Weekly rotation of air compressor 1 and air compressor 2.2) Quarterly replacement of compressor intake air filters.b) Weekly removal and cleaning of suction machine Evac-U-Trap filter shall be done during dentalclinic lunch hour (usually 12:00 p.m. 1:00 p.m.) to avoid work interruption.c) Service for Air Techniques vacuum system shall include quarterly replacement of vacuum filters.
