Specifications include, but are not limited to: At BVWA, the shop 17'4" wide by 17'9" high rotary drum automatic overhead door iscurrently malfunctioning due to the chain coming off the drive sprocket. The door is alsoloose in the frame, due to stripped bolts, and sometimes catches on the right side whereattached to the frame. The chain is jumping off the drive gear at the top of frame and rollsdown until floor stops it creating a hazardous situation.See Exhibit A, Attachment 1 for pictures of automatic overhead door located atBVWA, 5101 Meiss Lake Road, Macdoel, CA 96058, Siskiyou County.At SVWA, the shop 14'9" wide by 17'6" high automatic overhead door chain was blownoff the drive sprocket and out of the channels due to high winds. One of the door edgechannels is bent causing the chain to jump of the drive gear at the top of the frame. Staffwere able to repair but the door will not close automatically with remote or the wallcontrol; it must be closed with chain drive by hand.See Exhibit A, Attachment 2 for pictures of automatic overhead door located atSVWA, 1724 Ball Mountain Road, Montague, CA 96064, Siskiyou County.REQUIREMENTS AND MATERIALSContractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, permits, and taxesnecessary to:BVWA Diagnose and repair the 17'4" wide by 17'9" high rollup, rotary drum, chaindriven shop door Repair malfunctioning door sprocket and limit switch, and tighten, replace orrepair loose and exposed bolt heads effecting function Test and adjust system as needed to ensure proper functioningSVWA Diagnose and repair the 14'9" wide by 17'6" high rollup, rotary drum, chaindriven shop door. Adjust door edge guide to prevent high winds from making door jump off oftrack and gears during high winds, and will reprogram remote, limit switchesand sensors. Test system and adjust it as needed to ensure proper functioning.
