Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1Asbestos Containing Materials -Tasks to be Performed:2.1.1Investigation2.1.2Surveying and abatement protocols for asbestos, lead and any other hazardous materials located at County facilities that will be demolished and or altered based upon the CountysCourthouse Master Plan.2.1.2.1The services may range from simple reconnaissance-level observation (no sampling or testing) to full-scale surveys of sufficient detail which may include sampling, lab testing and comprehensive report preparation to satisfy regulatory agencies in the course of building renovations, demolition etc., involving asbestos containing materials (ACM), lead or other hazardous material2.1.2.2Services must meet or exceed all federal, state and local standards, codes, regulations, ordinances and laws.2.1.3Provide As-Built surveys of existing conditions & specifications for procurement documents for Brazoria County to utilize in order to solicit for remediationand or demolition2.1.3.1Reports will need to include, at a minimum, estimated quantity, location and description of each suspect or confirmed ACM or other hazardous material supported by a map showing sample locations, appropriate chain-of-custody and original lab results/tables appended. Survey report results must be concisely presented in order for the County to include them in procurementdocumentsin order to solicit for remediation and or demolition.2.2Lead-Based Paint Identification and XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence Testing) Testing Tasks to be Performed:2.2.1Conduct interior and exterior surface by surface investigations and inspections of all assigned buildings to determine the presence of Lead Based Paint (LBP) in or on the structures.2.2.2Perform sample taking to identify lead-based paint hazards on the assigned buildings. The assessment investigation should determine and report the existence, nature, severity and location of the LBP hazards.2.2.3Prepare and submit for laboratory analysis LBP; paint chips and dust samples.2.2.4Perform or haveperformed laboratory analysis of all collected field samples for lead compounds in paint and dust samples.2.2.5Perform XRF if required2.2.6Prepare and submit reports that detail the processes, procedures used, sampling methodologies conducted, laboratory results and findings as required.2.2.6.1Prepare abatement project designs, occupant protection plans and abatement specification, in detail, in order for the County to include them in the procurement documents in order to solicit for remediation and or demolition.2.3Mold Fungus Testing Tasks to be Performed:2.3.1Investigation2.3.2Prepare and submit reports that detail the processes, procedures used, sampling methodologies conducted, laboratory results and findings as required.2.3.2.1Prepare treatment project designs, occupant protection plans and treatment specification, in detail, in order for the County to include them in the procurement documents in order to solicit for remediation and or demolition.
