Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Contractor shall weekly test and monitor the waters: a)All results will be compared with the computer controller that feeds acid and bleach to the systemand calibrate as needed.b)The auto vacuums filter is removed and cleaned, then placed back into the vacuumby Contractor.c)The vacuum direction is changed to prevent the cord from coiling and during the visit periodically moved to a different location in the pool, reset and started back prior to Contractors departure and cord is uncoiled as needed.2.Contractor shall perform on an as neededbasis: a)Acid and Bleach carboys are to be rotated b)Addition of water to maintain a good level for flow and to prevent the pump for intake of air.c)Sand filters are backwashed. Any damage or leaks are reported to Contract Administrator.d)Check for proper filter operation. Contractor to inspect for leaks, corrosion and/or breakages. Advise the Contract Administratorif any issues found.e)Strainers and Skimmers are cleaned. f)Teaching staff how to use water kits.g)Store and utilize necessary chemicals.h)Clean pool area.i)Lubricate bearings, inspect seals. Adjust motor couplings for efficient transfer output, this should be performed monthly.j)Inspect pump and mount. Report any replacementsneededto Contract Administrator.k)Maintain records of chemical levels and submit in writing after each weekly visit.3.Chemicals:Contractor shallprovide, handle and installall chemicalsrequired for the poolto ensure appropriate chemical balanceon a T&M basis. Please refer to IV. Special Terms and Conditions:Paragraph 14, Work Estimates ( Time and Material ) Contractor will supply actual chemical/material cost invoices to Virginia State Police.4.Replacement Parts/EquipmentContractor shall provide a written quote of any parts or equipment that needs to be repaired or replaced. Please refer to IV. Special Terms and Conditions: Paragraph 14, Work Estimates ( Time and Material ) Contractor will supply actual parts/equipment or material cost invoices to Virginia State Police.5.Contractors experience:Contractor shall be CPO (Certified Pool Operator) or APSP(The Association of Pools and Spa Professionals)certified.
