Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) is seeking to enhance and expand the current network of Project Amp providers (for a further description, please follow the provided link Project Amp .) The purpose of this funding is to support and increase the capacity of community-based, youth-serving organizations to address behaviors associated with early initiation or misuse of alcohol and other drugs in youth ages 13-17. Funded organizations will identify and engage with young people at increased risk for developing a substance use disorder and intervene early, addressing key risk factors, through the implementation of Project Amp, a research-based brief intervention model developed by C4 Innovations. BSAS intends to fund approximately ten (10) community-based Project Amp sites
