WILLOWMERE PUMPING STATION FORCE MAIN REPLACEMENT TOWN OF GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION OF SEWERS CONTRACT NO. 6051 / PROJECT NO. 15-6051 Work to include, but not limited to the following major items for the installation of a new wastewater force main in Hill Lane Avenue in Greenwich, Connecticut. The major components of the work shall include: 1.Furnish and install approximately 500 feet of 6-inch diameter high density polyethylene force main pipe and removal and abandonment of the existing 6-inch diameter ductile iron forcemain as required for the transfer of wastewater from the Willowmere Pumping Station. 2.Provide temporary pumping equipment, structures, piping, and valves for temporary bypass flow. 3.Furnish and install new pumping station and valve vault process piping and demolish the existing piping. 4.Furnish and install new electrical, control, and instrumentation equipment and demolish the existing equipment. 5.Removal/disposal of the temporary main, pavement restoration, installation of new landscaping and plantings, and restoration of the project site to preconstruction condition or as indicated and specified. 6.Coordination, scheduling and obtaining necessary permits relative to construction
