Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City of Germantown approved a small area growth plan for the Western Gateway area in 2013. The plan is available on the Citys website or hard copies are available upon request. The growth plan enables dense, mixed-use development to occur. To date, a proposed development application for the undeveloped ten (10) acres formerly known as Kirby Farms consisting of a hotel, office building and retail is going through the approval process. A copy of the TIA for this project is available upon request. Several development and redevelopment options are outlined in the Western Gateway Plan. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the traffic impact of those options and to provide recommendations to address the expected increase in traffic. The chosen consulting firm (team) will be required to prioritize and provide conceptual layouts and cost estimates to address any identified transportation deficiencies.
