Solution to provide direct appointing across the UW Medicine Accountable Care Network (ACN). The UW Medicine ACN brings together many of the regions finest healthcare organizations; medical centers, primary and specialty care clinics, and urgent care facilities from Bellingham, WA to Tacoma, WA. Twelve major medical centers along with numerous affiliates and independents utilize their own EMR/scheduling products including Epic, NextGen, Centricity, Athena, and Meditech. More information on the ACN may be found at of this scheduling solution should allow bidirectional integration with the ACN majority to view and schedule across the ACN partner network. The technology should also provide a way for the minority (smaller affiliates) to reserve bookings for ACN participants. The products capability should allow the UW Medicine Contact Center representatives and patients to schedule appointments.Currently, patients are encouraged to call the UW Medicine ACN Member Services line listed on the back of their insurance card. The toll-free line allows the patient to schedule with any provider in the ACN during business hours Monday-Saturday 6:30AM to 8PM and Sunday 9AM to 5PM. At present, when the patient chooses a UW Medicine ACN provider that is outside of the Contact Centers ability to schedule, the patient is transferred to an established network partner hotline. The hotline is then responsible for ensuring the patient is scheduled.ACN contractual requirements note that the patient must be scheduled within certain timeframes dependent on Urgent Care and Specialty Care. The technology should allow for cross-functional reporting from multiple network partners.Current functionality includes a portal where members can search for a provider by name, specialty or practice. Additional search options include; network organization, language, provider degree, and location. Searches can further be filter for gender and providers accepting new patients. We would like additional functionality that leverages our existing portal and allows members and schedulers seamless direct online scheduling.The UW Medicine ACN is seeking a solution to meet our contractual requirements and provides the best possible patient scheduling experience, with the right provider, every time.No additional specifications were given.
