Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: Complete removal of existing roof system including membrane and insulation down to the structural deck and installation of new vapor barrier, new insulation system and new built-up and modified bitumen membrane with granule-surfaced membrane cap sheet. New modified bitumen flashings and sheet metal flashings are included as well as replacing the existing roof drains and adding new overflow roof drain system on two of the four buildings included in this project. Miscellaneous work includes some tuckpointing and caulking of parapet walls, adding guard rails and raising/extending existing equipment curbs, roof hatches, vents, and stacks.
