Specifications include, but are not limited to:Wastewater Pump Station No. 3 is located at the intersection of E. Debazan Avenueand W. Debazan Avenue in the City of St. Pete Beach. The Pump Station No. 3 Project includes by-pass pumping, restoration of theexisting wet well, an odor control unit, submersible pumps, valve vault, accesshatches, backup generator, diesel storage tank, pre-fabricated building, controlpanel and associated electrical equipment, and instrumentation, as presented onthe bid schedule above and described in section 20 of the Project Specifications byKimley Horn, which are included in section VII of this RFB. The base bid for this project also includes the replacement of an existing 18 gravitysanitary pipe which enters the southwest corner of the existing station, as shown onsheet number C-0.2 of the Project Plans by Kimley Horn, which are included insection VII of this RFB. It should be noted that Force Main No. 3, which originates at this Pump Station, isalso scheduled for rehabilitation in the upcoming months. The City anticipates thatthe Force main rehabilitation will be complete (or nearing completion) prior tocommencement of the rehabilitation of Pump Station No. 3. Included in the scopeof the Pump Station No. 3 Project is the construction of a small segment of forcemain (and associated valves) to connect the new station to the newly constructedForce Main No. 3. Bid Alternatives include the lining of an additional gravity line, rehabilitation oftwo (2) manholes, and supplying one spare pump and guide rail, as describedunder pay items 27 and 28, found in section 20 of the Project Specifications byKimley Horn, which are included in section VII of this RFB. Access to the Work sites shall be over streets, and walkways. Any damage toexisting pavement surface and base or other surface improvements outside theContract Pay Limits, attributable to the Contractor's activities, shall be restored tolike-new condition by the Contractor at the Contractor's expense.
