Specifications include, but are not limited to:Contractor shall execute coordinated and phased construction of a multi-use trail system through the Washington Park Arboretum (WPA), a living collection of rare high value trees and plants. Work shall include installation and maintenance of tree and plant protection, temporary erosion and sedimentation controls, temporary access and coordination for the WPA, operations staff and visitors. Construction of a paved multi-use trail including selective site demolition, specialty excavation by hand or blow pipe, selective tree removal, excavation, grading, fill placement, paving, walls, bridges, storm drainage, utilities, parking, steam restoration, wetland restoration, site restoration, irrigation and planting. Work shall include review, approval layout and control of trail construction following a specified sequence of tasks that shall be repeated for each segment of trail for as many iteration as necessary to complete the work of the project.
