Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) hereby seeks qualifiedContractors to submit proposals that meet the minimum acceptable criteria set forthherein to provide maintenance services for its vehicle fleet servicing the parkingoperations at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport and the Niagara FallsInternational Airport.The contractor shall provide all inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance as wellas coordinate third-party repairs and services, if necessary. The current vehicle fleetconsists of approximately 20 twelve-passenger Ford E-450 shuttle vans and 3 pick-uptrucks (one of each F150, F250 F350). The number of fleet vehicles may increase ordecrease at NFTAs option. The shuttle vans operate on a 24/7 basis and are drivenapproximately 45,000 miles annually. Shuttle vans are generally retired when mileagereaches 200,000. The value of this contract is between $150,000 and $200,000annually.The Contractor shall perform, but is not limited to, the following services:a. Inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of fleet by ASE-certifiedtechnicians and must be compliant with Federal Motor Carrier SafetyAdministration (FMCSA) requirements. Repair orders must be prepared for eachservice including vehicle number, VIN, date of receipt of vehicle for service,mileage, date returned to NFTA, description of work performed, labor hourscharged (or flat fee), replacement parts with cost, name of service technician,and review by contractor manager.b. Utilization of an automated maintenance system provided by contractor to:I. Notify NFTA with scheduling of preventative maintenance and inspectionsdue dates for each vehicle based upon date/mileage/elapsed days andmileage since previous service date.II. Provide historical vehicle service records within date ranges identifyingcosts for all repairs and parts replaced upon request of the NFTA.c. Emergency roadside service and repairs, including towing, as required, in aresponse time acceptable to the NFTA. Third party towing is acceptable.d. Adherence to a Preventative Maintenance Program (PMI) established by theNFTA and contractor including, but not limited to, inspections noted in Exhibit A.e. Provide all inspections required by local, state, and/or federal regulationsincluding annual safety inspections.
