Specifications include, but are not limited to: GENERAL1. The vehicles covered by these specifications shall becomplete with all necessary equipment andaccessories.2. These vehicles shall conform in all respects to theState of California Motor Vehicle Code and theDivision of Industrial Safety Order and F.M.V.S.S.requirements.3. All separate units shall be installed and connected foroperation.4. Bidders shall furnish complete information onequipment they propose to furnish.5. Only new models in current production will beconsidered. 6. The vehicle, as specified, shall be of current yearmanufacture and shall be the manufacturer's standardadvertised production model. Modifying the unit oraccessories to meet this specification shall beconstrued as not offering the manufacturer's standardproduction model.7. Acceptance of this equipment by the County of LosAngeles shall not waive the responsibility of thevendor to provide a unit that is in compliance withthe specification as written.8. No part or parts defective in construction or deficientin any of the requirements of these specifications willbe considered as accepted in consequence of thefailure of any employee of the County of LosAngeles.
