Specifications include, but are not limited to: The proposed project is a parking lot enhancement project at the Ute Indian Museum located at 17253 Chipeta Road Montrose, Colorado. The site is owned and operated by History Colorado, an agency of the State of Colorado. This project is funded by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) in part by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The project will require the general contractor to demo three existing parking lots (one adjacent to the Ute Indian Museum and two smaller lots north of Chipeta Road). The completed improvements are designed to provide safer automobile and pedestrian movement, bus turn-around and drop off, ADA parking, and improved storm water site drainage.
