: The Consultant will provide an upgrade to the existing PSL NeighborhoodWebsite that will be effective in information, presentation, directional sense, professionalstyle, and consistent overall layout. The final version of the design will be a collaborativeeffort between the City Planning and Zoning Department and the selected Proposer,incorporating elements that effectively represent the City. The Consultant will submit two(2) concepts for the final design (branding).The Consultant will alos provide WebsiteHosting. NOTE: the Website will only include advertisements authorized by the CitySpecific design guidelines and qualifications must meet the following requirements: A.Have a common and consistent style that will be maintained throughout the Website tomaximize usability. B. Comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 andaccessibility standards as explained in the following C. Display correctly in all current browsers, such asInternet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Google Chrome, and Apple mobile devices,Android, with smooth fallback for older browsers and users without JavaScript or AdobeFlash compatibility. D. Follow best practices, the website standardscompliant code,included in W3C standards of the World Wide Web Consortium,, andpage load times of three seconds or faster. E. Have a mobile website view for mobiledevices that are offered and/or integrated with the current mobile design. F. Display themobile design correctly in all current mobile browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox,Safari, Opera, and Apple mobile devices, Android, and Blackberry, with smooth fallback fornonsupported browsers to a readable format. G. Have a site search feature that providesresults on all website content as proposed in the initial design that includes portabledocument format (PDFs), Microsoft files, and website pages via integrated search engineor search application/appliance of organizations choice, such as Google. This searchfeature must be configurable to enable filters for content indexing and searching. H. UseCascading Style Sheets (CSS) to ensure consistency and separation of content anddesign. I. Have consistent orientation and navigational aids, such as hierarchical menusthat tell users how deep they are into a topic or subtopic as well as a homepage link oricon on each page in the same position.
