Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Vendor shall provide vehicle probe data showing trip pattern Origin-Destination (OD) datausing a variety of electronic collection means including, but not limited to, cell phone and GPSdata. The OD Data will be used for the purpose of assessing trip behavioral patterns in theGreater Orlando region and calibrating the Central Florida Regional Planning Model (CFRPM)travel demand model. Figure 1 shows the CFRPM Study Area. The FDOT intends to use thisdata to determine region-wide patterns, including zones or districts internal to the CFRPM modelstudy are and on the periphery. The periphery data will serve to determine external trip patternsand will help with travel demand model calibration.COVERAGEThe Department has a defined 2 phases for this project. Phase 1 consists of the area andzones/districts shown in Figures 2 through 2B and Phase 2 consists of the proposed area andzones/districts shown in Figure 3.A sample of at least 10% of the travel activity (can use population as a proxy) must be provided.For Phase 2, travel activity within a buffer extending at least five miles of the study area must alsobe collected to allow for external travel analysis. Figure 4 shows the external stations associatedwith the travel demand model that should be used to create external zones extending at least fivemiles beyond the cordon where practicable. The Department would like to have 57 zones/districtsfor Phase 1 and 80 zone/districts for phase 2.DATA PROVIDEDThe basic data provided shall be travel origin destination (OD) matrices for the entire regionscaled up from the sample to represent the Census population. The vendor will be required toprovide documentation on methodology and assumptions used in scaling. The data also needs tobe presented by different variables based on Phase 1 and Phase 2, listed below
