Specifications include, but are not limited to:In Year 1 of the Contract, the Contractor shall:3.2.1.1 Submit a proposed schedule of events and/or activities for Trauma-Informed Care training to the Contract Monitor at least sixty (60) days prior to conducting training;3.2.1.2 Conduct Trauma Informed Care Training of DJS staff on the days and times as determined by the Contract Monitor at the four (4) locations listed below:a) *DJS Western Region Office (Allegany County)1 James Day DriveCumberland, Maryland 21502*Training at this location is for staff at Backbone Mountain, Green Ridge, Meadow Mountain and Savage Mountain Youth Centers.b) J. DeWeese Carter Young Womens Center (Kent County)P.O. Box 229, 300 Scheeler RoadChestertown, Maryland 21620c) Victor Cullen Center (Frederick County)6000 Cullen DriveSabillasville, Maryland 21780d) William Donald Schaefer House (Baltimore City)907 Druid Park Lake DriveBaltimore, Maryland 212173.2.1.3 Other locations for TIC training can be arranged upon mutual agreement by the ContractMonitor and Contractor.3.2.1.4 Provide specialized training and required materials to train up to forty (40) selected DJS staff who will become trainers in the Contractors Trauma-Informed Care model. Thelocation of this training will be determined upon mutual agreement between the Contract Monitor and Contractor. If the parties cannot agree, then the Contract Monitor shall determine the location;3.2.1.5 Participate in quarterly Programming Committee meetings with twenty (20) DJS staffidentified by Contract Monitor/designee to discuss implementation successes, challenges,factors contributing to challenges, and strategies to address identified challenges. Participationcan occur via teleconference or videoconference;3.2.1.6 Provide ongoing consultation by telephone or video, whichever appropriate, for one (1)hour to select group of staff in each of the seven (7) residential facilities. Theseconsultations will occur at least once a month for each facility. The purpose of the consultationis to discuss with DJS staff implementation successes and challenges occurring in the programrelative to Trauma Informed Care Training, and to help problem-solve challenges; and3.2.1.7 Designate a qualified individual from Contractors training team to serve as the contact person for DJS staff questions and to address implementation issues as needed.
