Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: As background, this is a joint procurement for the Towns of Chatham, Provincetown, and Yarmouth within Barnstable County that have Sewer, Sewer/Septage or Septage only facilities. The Towns also have Grit disposal needs. There are two methods the Towns use for handling Sludge. Chatham and Yarmouth dewater sludge to form Sludge Cake. Provincetown produces thickened sludge to be removed by pumper truck. Due to seasonal increases between the months of May and September, Yarmouth would produce thickened sludge to be removed by pumper truck.
