Specifications include, but are not limited to:The San Mateo County Community College District (SMCCCD) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a software interface to the Districts existing Ellucian Banner systemthatwillretrievedataf r o m B a n n e r t o p r o d u c e a n d s e n d s t u d e n t s t r a n s c r ipts. The qualified vendor will be responsible for producing and sending student transcripts from the system electronically or by US Mail. SMCCCD will continue to send electronic transcripts via eTranscript CA to participating institutions. The software and services described in this RFP are to send transcripts to all other institutions. The selected vendor will provide SMCCCD with a software interface to the Districts existing Ellucian Banner system and additional transcript processing services that will accomplish the following: Retrieve data from Banner database to produce transcripts. Software will be created and maintained by the vendor. Allow students to continue to request transcripts from existing Banner Self Service web interface. Vendor software will electronically send transcripts to schools that have established electronic interface using established industry standards. Vendor will mail transcripts, via U.S. Mail, to schools that have not elected to receive transcripts electronically. Mailed transcripts will be printed on appropriate paper and have required signatures and seals.
