Specifications include, but are not limited to:1.00 LT Training and Instruction (For Clients, Not Staff)The Franklin County Municipal Court Department of Probation Services (FCMC DOPS) is seeking training andconsultation to assist in its goal of ensuring that all staff receive base knowledge in the fundamentals of evidence-basedpractices in community corrections and engage the Department of Probation Services management team and othercritical stakeholders in developing a long term sustainability plan. The trainer and consultant will work with the FCMCDOPS to determine the best course of in-house training based on its unique needs and will work with other key Courtand system players to develop benchmarks and a road map for the most successful implementation and long termsuccess. The training and consultation services will take place over a six month period and should consist of severalfull, on-site days to allow for staff scheduling and time for staff to gain knowledge and skill proficiencies on anappropriate schedule. If you are interested in engaging with us to meet these needs, please submit a quote that includesexpenses, as well as hourly professional fees, to .Requirements:1) That the provider have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the use of evidence-based criminal justice policies andpractices2) That the provider have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with the criminal justice system, e.g. Judges,defense attorneys, prosecutors, probation departments, and State Supreme Courts around education, training, anddevelopment,3) That the provider has demonstrated expertise in the use of evidence-based practices in corrections, as shown bypublished articles appearing in criminal justice journals and/or participation in state and national training eventsPreferred Qualifications:1) That the provider have experience working with a diverse urban offender population, facing significant economicand educational challenges2) That the provider have experience working with national organizations around the needs of offender populations,e.g. NIC, BJA, SAMHSA3) That the provider have an understanding of and experience working with Municipal Court Probation Departments
