Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Contractor shall be responsible for provision of all equipment, labor and expertise, permits, andall other things necessary for a successful events. Professional sound and lighting services arerequired for the following scheduled events:1) Independence Day Evening Show Celebration This will be the first event under the newcontract, July 4th (rain date on July 5th) of each year. Will be held at Fairfax High SchoolFootball Stadium, located at 3501 Rebel Run, Fairfax, VA. The performance will startpromptly at 7:00 pm and shall continue until 10:30pm. The Contractor shall mobilize andinitiate sound check promptly at 3pm on the day of the event.This event usually draws approximately 5,000 to 8,000 audience. At the minimum, theContractor shall provide professional sound system for two (2) stage of entertainment (nefor the Fairfax City Show mobile for the performance of a headliner band and one for theFairfax City Band).At the minimum the Contractor shall furnish the following: Two (2) qualified personnel, each monitoring a stage (one (1) sound engineer and one(1) lighting engineer/technician). These personnel shall be available throughout eventto operate the systems ; Complete and professional sound system to support the event in a professional manner; Two (2) thirty two feet (32) speaker towers with the ability to be lowered immediately,if necessary; Appropriate generator to power audio system and the band equipment; Appropriate filler music to be played in-between sets; Two (2) 20 amp circuits to the city band along with ample covering for the soundmix position; Appropriate equipment to handle the wireless transfer of sound from thepyrotechnicians to the sound system; Lighting adequate for the stage area. All parts of the stage must be well lit with no darkareas. Bright colored gels are requested. Lighting operator familiar with the system. Twelve (12) sandbags; and Ten (10) 20x30 rain tarps.2) Fall Festival Will be held on the 2nd Saturday of October (rain dates held the followingday). The event will take place at the University Drive located in front of 3950 UniversityDrive, Fairfax, VA 22030. The performance will start promptly at 10am and shall continueuntil 5pm. The Contractor shall mobilize and initiate sound check promptly at 8am on theday of the event.The Contractor shall provide outdoor sound system and related technical services for anaudience of approximately 1,500 people. The entertainers will perform on two (2) showmobiles.At the minimum the Contractor shall furnish the following: Two (2) qualified personnel, each monitoring a show mobile. These personnel shall beavailable throughout event to operate the systems ; Complete and appropriate sound system to support the event in a professional manner; Appropriate generator to power audio system and the band equipment; Appropriate filler music to be played in-between sets;
