Specifications include, but are not limited to:Provide all the labor, equipment, materials, associated supplies and services necessary and in accordance with the bidspecifications, to provide temporary rental portable electric generators located on the main campus of the State University ofNew York at Stony Brook, Stony Brook, NY 11794, Research and Development Campus, Stony Brook Southampton, and allother properties belonging to, owned/operated by the State University of New York as herein described delivered FOB netdestination in accordance with SUNY at Stony Brook 15/16-120MC.The successful bidder will be required to perform all tasks as specified in the Scope of Work and at the direction of theCampus Operations/Facilities and Services Director, Utilities Director, Assistant Director, or designee. Compensation for suchservices as described shall be quoted on an hourly rate for that service requested plus any additional materials that was deemednecessary to perform such services.Exceptions/Exclusions to any of the items listed on the specifications shall be clearly indicated in writing to the procurementofficer during the allowable question period.Requirements: The bidder shall own at least 20 generator sets ranging between 300 kW and 2,000 kW which are domiciled in Nassau orSuffolk Counties, New York. At least half of these units need to be a least 100kW. Proof of ownership of the generator setsshall be included with the bid. The sub-contracting of the majority of the specified generator sets shall not be allowed. Suchfleet is to be available within four (4) hour Response Time from request of the University of any EmergencyGenerator (7) seven days per week/365 days per year. The successful vendor is to have on staff or on contract an engineer, who is familiar with stand-by-emergency generatoroperations. The engineer must be available to respond to any questions or problems Stony Brook University may haveregarding any aspect of the emergency stand-by generator power system. The successful bidder will provide a copy of their Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures for the Universitys review. Thesuccessful bidder will Lock-Out/Tag-Out all generators when performing repairs and maintenance. The successful bidder will supply as requested technicians to assist with set-up and removal of the generators.
