OBH is responsible for policy development, service provision and coordination, program monitoring and evaluation, and administrative oversight for the public behavioral health system. OBH funds, supports and monitors numerous mental health and substance abuse community programs and providers, and reviews and designates t h e S t a t e s 2 7 -65 providers. OBH also operates the Colorado Mental Health Institutes (Institutes) at Fort Logan ( C M H I F L ) a n d P u e b l o ( C M H I P ) . O B H e x e c u t e s t h e S t a t e s f e d e r a l r e s p o n s i b i l i t i e s a s t h e S t a t e M e n t a l H e a l t h A u t h o r i t y and the State Substance Abuse Authority for the purposes of administering federal mental health and substance abuse block grant funds. The Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo (CMHIP) is a 451 inpatient bed facility that serves clients in the civil mental health system. Civil adult clients are referred for admission by the states Community Mental Health Centers, and CMHIP also serves the Adolescent and Geriatric population. In addition, CMHIP serves adults who are found Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity or Incompetent to Proceed (defendants unable to assist in their own defense). CMHIP also provides e v a l u a t i o n s o f c o m p e t e n c y t o s t a n d t r i a l f o r i n d i v i d u a l s r e f e r r e d f o r e v a l u a t i o n b y t h e s t a t e s c o u r t s . C M H I P p r o v i d e s quality mental health services utilizing Trauma Informed Care and Recovery principles, and has been focused on sustaining hope and promoting recovery for Colorado residents since 1879." The Office of Behavioral Health is soliciting an invitation to bid for temporary Occupational Therapist(s). Bidders shall o n l y s u b m i t p r o p o s a l s i f t h e b i d d e r s h a s a f i rm demonstrated ability to provide the specifications listed below. Multiple positions immediately available for: Possession of current, valid occupational therapist license with the State of Colorado. Candidates must provide a copy of their Colorado Occupational Therapist licensure and NBCOT certification (if the candidate is a new graduate) Must have one year of practice as a registered occupational therapist.
