Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide twenty-four(24) hour a day, seven (7) day a week phone support to approximately 7,200 CityUsers (not including contract employees) and 7,000 laptops and desktop devicesUsers. The City has had Service Desk Services for approximately twelve (12) years,with the Services being outsourced for the last eight (8) years. I&T has chosen to usethe Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Managementframework as a foundation for this program. The program will include theincorporation of industry best practices as defined by (ITIL).
